Distance
Learning vs. Online Learning |
|
There is a significant
difference between Online Learning and Distance Education.
Distance Education is, at its core, self-paced independent
study delivered in many different forms: postal mail,
electronic mail, online, video, etc.
Online Learning
involves a cohort of learners progressing through a
curriculum together, communicating asynchronously.
