Frequently
Asked Questions
Q. When are the assignments due?
A. Technically all assignments are due at the beginning of the last
class. I recommend that you turn the assignments in as you complete
them.
Q. How do I turn the assignments in? Are printed copies required?
A. All assignments are to be turned in as attachment to an email.
I do not require printed copies of any assignment.
Q. Can I ask for suggestions?
A. Yes, you may ask for input at any time. In fact, you may turn
in an assignment for a grade and change it for a higher score.
Q. What do I have to do to get an A?
A. That's always the million dollar question, but there is no concrete
answer. It's like asking an art teacher how many more lines do
I have to draw or asking an English teacher how many more words
do I have to write. I want these projects to be useable for you.
The students who are less concerned about a grade and more concerned
about they are going to use what they produce are the students
who do the best.
Q. Are there any group projects?
A. No, there are no group projects. You are welcome to work together,
but each student must produce his or her own project. As much
as teachers would like to think that it is a collaborative profession,
when it comes down to it, each teacher has to be able to put together
their own teaching materials.
Q. How do I find web sites put up by teachers?
A. The best way is to start with schools and go to the faculty section.
From there you can find the teachers that have web sites.
